Identify this boat?

Saw this beauty today in my travels. Probably one of the prettiest boats I've seen in a long time. Would love to know what it is..

Could be a Le Comte Tripp design yawl. They had one model called the VITESSE. Reminds me of the LeComte boats.

Could be a Columbia 40. The 38 had a spade rudder.
If it's the 40 then it is a Charley Morgan design. Probably a production version of his SORC winner PAPER TIGER also a yawl.

But checking with a drawing of the Columbia the rudder does appear to be as designed. Still I think Charlie is right.

Many thanks for posting that. I like to know my boat identifying skills are still working. Of course I can't tell a Beneteau from a Jeaneau but back when I was a 16 year old kid, dreaming big dreams, I was a real Le Comte fan.

I don't think there is a "p" in there.
Google doesn't think so either.

Beautiful example of CCA overhangs and Bill Tripp's art at work.

Whatever the pros or cons of the CCA era boats it always does my heart a bit of good to be anchored near one. They sure be mighty purty.
