History Making Sailboat for Sale

Matt Rutherford's historic nonstop, solo circumnavigation of the Americas has been discussed here before but if you missed it, here is a link. Matt contacted me to ask my help in selling his Albin Vega, hull #1147, St Brendan. The details are on the American Vega Association site. Matt would rather not sell the boat but he has other projects and he needs the money.

Um... other than the historical value, I'm guessing that boat is pretty well flogged.

I can't speak to the condition of the boat having never seen it. No doubt the rigging and sails have seen better days. However, I have seen some pretty beat up Vegas brought back to beautiful condition.

Anyway, just thought I would get the word out.

Good for Matt Rutherford!
I wish him well on his new endeavor.
