Unbelievable but true story: Last month we were coming out of Watch Hill, RI which has a long-ass channel that is not spec restricted. A power boat was following and my brother in law asked me if he was going to stay behind us. "Naa. He'll blow by like all the others do." Well the guy follows us then creeps up close and asks me if its ok if he passes and speeds up.

Strange but true.

Did you get the vessel's name and hailing port?... I would have been tempted to report him to the coasties....

...and buy him a beer the next time I saw him.
