This is precisely what made Brent's insults on Bob so hilariously sad. Hopefully that's all over now. It would be nice to just admire boats.

Re: Congrat to Bob Perry

Thank you Bob for the attention to detail with all your wonderful yachts. I also would like to thank you for your openness to all of us Sailnetters. You have posted personal photos (really like the dogs) for us to get to know you as a sailor/person not just the designer. We could go on and on about your coolness and we will! LOL. Thank you.

Re: Congrat to Bob Perry

Mr. Bob Perry is indeed the man, in the last couple of weeks I have been scouring the net reading all I can on him and the wonderful boats he has designed, and while the Valiant 40 truly is a remarkable boat, the Tayana 37 has moved to the front of my dream boat list. Thank you Mr. Perry.

Re: Congrat to Bob Perry

Gee whizz you guys, you got me tearing up.
I wish my Dad could see this. "You'll end up just like Uncle Mick!"

I'm going to go and tell my dogs. Up here at the beach there is no one else to tell.

My sincere thanks to all of you who voted for me.
Can't think of anything else to say.
I think I'll just strut around the house with the vacuum cleaner.

Thanks.
