John Robert McLaughlin R.I.P.

I went to a funeral service yesterday for John. I only knew him for 4 years as he helped to move my sailboat from Annapolis to Magothy on her maiden voyage. He had a magnetic personality, a deep belly laugh, a wide smile and he loved everything about sailing. He lived a full life, loved his wife and kids, enjoyed teaching others, special olympics and racing solo long distance. John was humble and at peace through the end helping those around him as always. May he rest in peace.
