There will be a "transfer of assets" while you're at the dinghy raft-up.
Considering Donna does not have a dinghy, therefore, cannot attend said dinghy raftup, there will be NO transfer of assets. There will have to be a boarding party to indulge in said beverages. Arggg!

In addition to the keynote by Beth Leonard we have NOAA OPC coming to talk about new weather products and weather guru Lee Chesneau talking about how the self sufficient sailor can use that data. We have a lady mechanic talking to our lady cruisers about engines and systems. Mike Ahart of Waterway Guides and Mark Doyle of Cruising the Waterways are speaking also. We have sessions on communications afloat, troubleshooting electrical systems, and more. SSCA members get a discount at admission but all are welcome.

Y'all c'mon down to the Rhode River.

Please note that fees cover our costs and all the speakers are donating their time. This is not a commercial enterprise. We are cruisers helping cruisers.

Haleakula will be there displaying her SCCA flag but unable to attend the onshore programs. We are returning home from our weeks sojourn south.

Well look for some of the "usual suspects".

The wine cabinet has a double titanium lock, since the last time we left her unguarded Shawn tried to plunder our Pinot Noir .

Bah. We are paddling around fine in our sea eagle. No motor. No paddling under the influence laws to deal with after the rum tasting on Cinderella tonight. Should be interesting.

Bubble, believe me. There are no assets to transfer from our boat unless you like whiskey.

Re: SSCA Annapolis Gam

Alas, the best I could do was a "fly-by" through the anchorage.
Obligations have been piling up, that I could no longer ignore.

I took some friends out on Saturday afternoon, who had recently suffered the loss of a very close family member, and desperately needed a distraction. That was the "fly-by".

I'm moderately irritated that I had to miss the whole damned thing.

Re: SSCA Annapolis Gam

We had a great time attending workshops, meeting interesting people, meeting up with friends we met through SailNet.

Unfortunately, I discovered that I have a taste for expensive rum. I blame Melissa and the crew of Cinderella.
