Sailing and Ragtop weather is here!

As I read some of the other posts about packing away the boat in preparation for the big freeze it reminds me of the great weather we enjoy (most of the time) in North Texas. We endure a few tornadoes and the summer heatwave but for the most part it's not bad. Right now it is PERFECT for everything outdoors.

Avg annual windspeed - 10.7 mph
Avg number days below freezing-37 (usually overnite low)
Avg daily high temp-76.3
Avg number of days above 90 degrees F-96 (June - August)

Re: Sailing and Ragtop weather is here!

I wish I had gotten my boat in the water this year. Fall is a beautiful time to go sailing in the Mid-Atlantic. Today would have been chilly on the ocean, but we had a nice breeze and not much wave action.
