Malo 39 - What a beauty!

We recently delivered a Malo 39 from Croatia to Lymington. The Skipper sent me some video footage that I have cobbled together:

The yacht is actually now for sale...

The guys tell me that she is in excellent condition; They were all very impressed!

I hope you enjoy the video, lots of Dolphins and Whales - making it made me feel very envious!

Pete

Re: Malo 39 - What a beauty!

Thank you both though I cannot take credit for the pic. Nor the sailing for that matter. The pic was taken from companion boat while they were sailing up the NSW coast on a voyage that ended up doing a lap around Oceania. Oz east coast then out to New Caledonia and back. Previous owners, sadly not us. Otoh one thing you can say abut her is she absolutely adores getting out onto the ocean. Sailing that girl on a passage is an absolute delight.

She looks a lot tidier under the Wombet's care, TD

..and you gotta admit the bow thruster is kinda handy too!

Re: Malo 39 - What a beauty!

Thanks C. Good of you to say so but in reality she's not much changed from that pic. Remember we had stripped quite a bit off her to do the 24.

and yes .... when you go from no skeg to skeg, reversing does become somewhat more traumatic. I'm still a bit embarassed when I use the damn thing but yep that thruster does come in handy.
