Some sailing with dolphins (video)

Did a double handed trip from New York Harbor to Block Island and back, on the ocean side, a couple weeks ago. Dolphins start around 1:30.

(I can't remember how to post a youtube video but this is the link)

Interestingly shaped bow pulpit. Is that standard on a C&C?

I'm pretty sure it was stock on this boat, not quite sure why they did it that way but it makes mounting an anchor roller impractical.

The boat is a "racer-cruiser" in the true sense of the term, it has a relatively narrow beam for its length and doesn't have near the big open cabin/cockpit space of a similar loa hunterbennylina.

There are a few Benny Oceanis' on the same dock, of similar size and larger. I couldn't help but notice that the section on their masts is much smaller than on the C&C, same with the gooseneck, standing rigging, boom, etc.
I guess most of the cruiser types tend to motor upwind when the breeze is up rather than bashing into it, so a beefy rig is presumed to be unnecessary? (and cheaper). I imagine the hulls are also built much lighter for similar reasons.
