Re: sailing on work nights

I sail after work often. In the cool dark nights getting home near midnight isnt a big deal to me. I was only curious if other people are doing similar adventures.

Re: sailing on work nights

As much as I would enjoy it, I tend not to sail after work this time of the year because of the early sunsets. I also tend to sail singlehanded most of the time, and what with the time to get to the marina, get set up and leave, I really wouldn't have much time on the water until it got really dark -- and I'm not so confident to come back into my slip in the pitch dark. Every once in awhile I've come in later than expected in the twilight which is really pretty, but that's happened more by chance than by design.
