Looks like an ambient pressure system, and judging by the amount of air released, it does not have CO2 scrubbers, so this is more like SCUBA with a really oversize drysuit. I like the sculling tail though.

Okay, I'll admit it...it's too cool. Very nice setup. Think I'd have gone with a relectric motor and prop shaft though. Very nice concept.

One hell of a good scull boat, although the bubbles might scare the ducks?

A better means of propulsion could be a closed container of carbide. inject some water along with the exhaust air. timed pizeo spark ignition , Gases turn the turbine connected to big pitch prop.
