I remember sailing with my dad and grandpa out on Lake Michigan when I was young. We used to come back and listen to tapes of Will Ackerman. Seems like so long ago. Well, I recently got a boat and the first thing I did was buy his CD. It really takes me back to hear that relaxing tone of his guitar. If you haven''t heard him, you must! Beautiful...and thank you. It is nice to have a post that is adding something wonderful for our enjoyment rather than the bickering that often goes on here.

Thanks again for sharing.

I like to play the Gypsy Kings-- melodic and moving-- acoustic guitars with a mediterranean flavor.

Must have for serious sailors:

Rimsky-Korsakov''s Sheherazade
"The Sea and Sinbad''s Ship"

You can amost get seasick just listening to it.
