Tania is the youngest person and the first American woman to sail around the world alone. Tania gives a personable account of her epic singlehanded circumnavigation, undertaken from May 1985 to November
1987 from age 18 to 21. She chronicles her entire voyage from the starting perspective of an innocent teenager at sea to that of a
seasoned veteran of the high seas three years. Her stories are sometimes frightening, funny, or poignant yet, always gripping and entertaining. These tales are illustrated with a full selection of
exotic slides from locals all over the world.

Cocktails start at 6:30 p.m. Book signing and autographs after the event.

Tania came to speak near us a while back. She has a VERY good presentation, well worth seeing. She also comes across as a nice person, which is an added plus.
