Have an opportunity to purchase a 2003 achilles inflatable that''s been in box untouched for 2 years - price is great but am concerned about potential internal damage of fabric since it has been folded for 2 years. Any real concern here?
Having been boxed for two years check any seams that may have been incurred with it being folded. Inflate it and check for dry spots ie rot and take it from there. Late model as it is I would think that it would check okay unless subjected to extremes of heat and cold.Good luck.
also, call the company and see if its covered under the fabic warranty still. defender.com sells 1,2, and even 3 model year old boats all the time. i wud assume that they have climate controlled storage.
