Thanks Brad

Re: Marathon meet-up

Having met Cruisingdad and his family I can clear up some questions in advance of your asking...

1) Yes, he is the best looking sailnet moderator - at least the best looking one that I've actually met. (He's the only one I've met.)

2) No, he was not bar-b-queing at the time that I met him. He did not order BBQ-ed food. Nor does he carry a BBQ strapped to he belt.

3) Yes, his wife is lovely and gracious. Can't imagine how he landed that one. Maybe it was the 1,000 watts of solar.

4) Yes his kids are more mature and self-sufficient that normal. My kids quickly took to them and they ended up playing downstairs while the grown-ups talked.

Thanks Brian for an excellent evening. You were also very patient with our being on "vacation time" and losing track of the time while snorkling. Thanks for that too.

Regards,
Brad

Re: Marathon meet-up

The word "bar-b-q" never came up?

I am shocked.

I know. I was expecting his face to be grill-burned, with the parts under the chin more red than his face. Or at least some grill marks on his hand or something. Or maybe a tatoo like these:

Wait -- I think he had a burger. It was probably grilled.

Brad
