Is there any one out there who has visited Jamaica in the last few years?

I assume you mean by boat. The answer is no but I have been to Jam probably 30 times all along the north coast. If you are looking for anchorages they are few and far between.The north coast is very rocky and about the only harbors are at Montego, the ore dock/bay of James Bond fame in Discovery Bay, the Harbor in Ocho Rios and I guess in Port Antonio. I would not consider any of them very protected
