Refueling in bad weather

I never had the pleasure of trying to refill with water spilling into the cockpit in bad weather.Any sugestions besides you should of done it earlier.

Refueling in bad weather

We once had to refill in Edgartown, during a downpour, before cruising back to Newport. My wife held an umbrella over the deck fill, since it was not under cover, while I re-fueled . . . water & diesel make bad berthmates.
