I have loved it here on Sailnet. I was thinking that it was going to go on and on. To bad all good things must come to and end.. The PacificNorthwest group has been wonderful to me. That is a beatuilful area to sail and the people there and on that Sailnet group feel like family. Enter Sailjazz.com Come over and see what has happened there. As Sailnet dies you will still be able to share and learn there. So don''t drop your sailing friends come make some new ones...

I hope someone at Sailnet reads this (they said they will start moderating the site...) I''ve never posted msges here or anywhere else. I read a few people got ripped off. I ordered 3 sails from Airforce in June. They sent me one, the least expensive one. They charged my credit card for the 3 sails...In the end, I have a very nice 110% jib that cost me close to $9,000 vs $1,800! Would have loved to talk to someone over there but no one gets back to me.
Good luck everyone!

dominiquedelage You must of just finnished an anger management program because I would have someone by the throat after that.(literally) And if someone would call that threatening them, good, because I would then carry it out!Now if you need help educating someone about fraud Email me directly, that is one trip on land I would travel for.

Is there a consensus as to where the "Resources" will gather when the lights go out here? Sure would be nice to find the new "Sailnet II"

Personally, I don''t think there''s anything special to the Sailnet BB other than the participants. You''ll find better and more comprehensive coverage on some of the boards previously discussed, including the one Gordo recommended (http://www.cruisersforum.com/) and the ssca.org Discussion Board.

SailNet customers,

I''m a newspaper reporter with The Post and Courier in Charleston, South Carolina. SailNet, which is headquartered here, filed for bankruptcy in late July and the government is now selling off its remaining assets. I am writing about the process, but I''m interested in what is happening to those of you who have been charged and have not yet received the ordered goods or a refund.

Please contact me at kstock@postandcourier.com if you care to comment.
