For a couple of days -------

Hello All

Well -- for a couple of days we were with out a home, but now we are back home again. The only thing is we don''t know where home is. Maybe they will tell us, not that it matters I guess, as long as it works. It looks like this thing might be like the EverReady Bunny and just keep GOING and GOING---------------------.

So we might as well stick with it, and keep going with it.

I usually check into three or four regular forums every day (that is when I''m not on the boat). It was a strange coincidence when I found that message on the SailNet blue screen along with another forum being down at the same time.

Being adrift in a cyber sea - without an anchor, was a bit disconcerting. Hopefully, SailNet will stay afloat after this receivorship transition.

For a couple of days -------

I was not able to log in for the last week. This morning was the first time I was able to get through. I had to use the cached pages in a search engine though.

Did anyone make it down to Annapolis (in the pouring rain) for the show?

Would like to hear what others found that was interesting there. I enjoyed spending time on the Valiant 42 talking with Bob Perry. Also chatting with Tim Jackett was very informative. I was very impressed with the C&C 115, it hit almost every hot button I have when it comes to design and construction, from it''s light weight, easily driven hull, to it''s fractional rig. Tim even said he would change out the below deck hand holds to a more traditional hoop design for me. They will custom build out a boat in just about any configuration for very modest design fees. Impressive! (Just struggling with the $206,000 for a boat built out to my specs)
