New Music for the Coming Summer

I am always looking for new music as it is on constantly on inmy boat when at anchor or in the slip - even over night. What is soem good NEW stuff you have heard?

For me, the best new stuff is:

"Les Paul and Friends": Good late 70''s remakes with names like Clapton, Jeff Beck, Edgar Winter. Les Paul is, of course, a guitar legend who invented modern recording techniques.

Gordon Goodwin Big Phat Band: "XXL" Big band music taken into the new milenium with precision and musicianship unlike any you have heard before.

New Music for the Coming Summer

There are so many CDs we listen to while on the boat. Selection of course, depends entirely on the mood. We always enjoy listening to anything by the Barefoot Man - Barefoot in the Bahamas being his earlier album, but one of his best. Go to his website for many more -

Just bought a CD with some refreshingly light jazz (got the DVD too). Listen to the Sideways Jazz Orchestra - from the Sideways movie soundtrack - great sounds. Go here to listen to some samples from the album -
