sailingfool will become famous soon enough
One needs to use some extra care if your boat hull has been painted. Friction from the tarp can take the gloss off thepaint and moisture trapped under the tarp can be absorbed intot hepaint and bubble the finish. With a painted hulll you need to prevent any chafe and provide for ventalation of the hull. If shrink-wrapped, the wrap should stop at the toe rail, i.e. not cover the hull.

Hi, Frank, I've never heard of this. Please tell me a little about it and where I might get some in or around Central Ohio?

thanks, Jack

Tolley's creeping crack cure...

This product comes in a small plastic container, and is a liquid that they say is thinner than water, will penetrate all the small cracks, but then hardens and seal them. Most chandleries have it, including West Marine and others. Cost about $12.00 or so.
I use it annually on the toe rail, all cleats and other deck fittings, around the windows, etc. to ensure that no leaks develop.
Frank.

You might check out the Fairclough website.

http://www.fairclough.com/

We have a custom made cover for our Freedom 35. It fits like a glove so no chafing. A frame came with it so we can unzip it in the winter and work on the inside all cozy. The cords keep things nice and tight. We are actually selling it since we are moving the boat south. If anyone is interested let me know via tourne12@aol.com. New cost $3,300 plus. Cost after 4 years $1,425.
