Catalina issues i found

So I bought a Catalina 22 cheap at auction. Want to start fixing priority first I was wondering if anyone can help identify problems. The few i am concerned with most are with the hull. In the storage locker of the v birth looking under and back to right side i see brown staining. What do you think?

Re: Catalina issues i found

Worth your while looking at the different Catalina owners groups for assistance.

The one thing that I know of that you should check on an older swing keel 22 is the keel pivot. Lost keels are not unknown.

Looks like a combination of water stains and mold and that they tried to just paint over it. My first boat looked like that in some spots inside. After I scrubbed the sides I could more clearly see where the water entered.

I agree with TQA. You'll find a lot of resources on the owners association site.
