Yeah... who knows why 15 but the fact that you answered is super. Know what you mean about the first mate...heeling makes her VERY nervous...however, the 26 is much better than heeling on the Catalina 22 that I've been meaning to put on the market...

I haven't checked in here in ages. I will be checking in more regularly going forward. Finished the job of removing all the steel bearings and cement in the aft half of the keel that Commodore used as ballast. Weeks of chipping with a cold chisel. Replaced with lead and epoxy resin. With the more concentrated weight I gained more depth in the cockpit locker plus a 4" wide by 16" deep sump in the cockpit bilge. Also tripled the size of the sump in the cabin bilge. Works out great. Neither of them ever get water in them but good to know that if they do I'm better prepared to handle it without any water sloshing around.
