Assymetric Spinnaker
Check the articles on sail net there is a good article on asymetrics....
Are you using a bowsprit? I am assuming no.
WHen I fly my asymetric cruising spinnaker I use a dousing sock. This make setting so easy. Raise the sock, pull the control line with a little sheeting and its a done deal.
I attach the tack to the head stay that has a furled sail on it with a 1" nylon strap. There are devices to do this. Neil Pryde Sails makes a parrel bead strap that rolls up and down the furled sail. There is also a device called a tacker...
Attaching the single hank onto the strap. I run the sheet back to a turning block on the toe rail just in front of the stern rail stantion.
Sailing wise it acts like a big genoa. My ten year old does the sheeting.
