I may try for a solo trip in Sept.

Just thinking.. it's something I've always wanted to do..

I'm tied into the DRYL Yacht club network. http://www.dryl.org/ so I'm covered pretty well if I need help on the Delaware River.

and I do have Boat US. and all that NEW STUFF on my engine, battery system and controls LOL. I may give it a try.

For heaven's sake GO! Plan your days. Look for weather. No "must-dos" except be on the hook by 4:00. Good food and drink. Enjoy!! Don't forget a couple of spare anchors. Ha!

Have a destination in mind? Cape May? Sept is a great time of year. Things quiet down quickly when everyone goes back to school, etc.

Yes GO!

I did my first solo trip last Oct. San Fran to Southern California. Had a BLAST! Learned a lot, messed up some too.

Oh, it was also my first coastal multi-day trip and first time sailing a night.

Point Conception lived up to its reputation too!!

Would do it again in a heartbeat. GO GO GO!

Jeanneau 54DS

In the harsh marine environment, something is always in need of repair. Margaritas fix everything.
