Relocating to Pompano Area
 

Relocating to Pompano FL from west coast. Any comments on avail. of sailboat slip space for 40 to 48' slips and rough costs would be great. Any other info about area would be greatly appreciated. Looking to buy home within 30 miles N or S of Pompano. Thank You.

Not to be discouraging, but slips should be fairly available, as after the last two major hurricanes, most insurance companies won't insure boats during hurricane season if they are not stored north of a certain place in Georgia. Good luck getting insurance if you're keeping your boat in Florida.
