I'm a design builder, happiest restoring and recreating old buildings.

I enjoy it so much, I don't want to stop. And luckily it pays the costs of our sailing.

Sailing the east coast 15-20 years ago, on a family cruise, relocated us to the coast of Maine. That was doable as my self employed occupation was easy to bring along.

Please watch your language.

Re: What kind of work do you do to finance your sailing?

I work for big business but it sure doesn't pay big! So I just learned over the years to spot a good deal. Equally important is having the cash on hand to pull the trigger on the deal when it comes by. This means learning to make a monthly budget and stick to it! Gotta make sure you have the money for the slip, storage, and all those accessories too!

Re: What kind of work do you do to finance your sailing?

I'm an economist in the federal statistical system.

So I can't help but point out that your poll requests individual occupations, but all your response buttons are industries. Very bad survey design.

That's your problem, you want "cure" the product, not make it into jerky, no wonder sales are down.
