Tomorrow we move aboard and set off

So after two years of planning, boat shopping, installing, researching, reading, training, preparing, job quitting and child wrangling - it is finally time.

Tomorrow we move aboard our tartan 41 and begin our year aboard. Starting in lake Champlain, heading down the east coast and to the Caribbean.

With stops for ice cream and Legos.

Stop by our blog, hit us up on Facebook, and we'd love to meet people en route!

(And sailnet has been an amazing resource, thanks to you all)

We are waiting to welcome you to a lovely, warm anchorage on some tropical isle.

Re: Tomorrow we move aboard and set off

You must be really excited. Going from lake water, to the smell of the ocean is always such a rush. Best of luck.
