Perry on Design Piper one Design

I have been investigating the history of the Piper one design and read the article by Perry in the Sailnet Sailing Magazine.

My family own the original wooden hull sail no. 1 known as Sandpiper.

She lies at the Lallows Boatyard at Cowes, Isle of White and is in great condition for her 40years of age.

Unfortunately she is to be sold, but with her heritage back to the 6metres and 12metres, she deserves a good home.

Can anyone provide me with information as to where the GRp hulled boats exported to the USA are now sailing.

Please respond to jemmonk@aol.com

Thanks
