Hard dodger and bimini

My wife and I own a '68 Pearson 35. We have lived aboard for several years and cruised from NJ to the Bahamas three times and hung out in south west Florida. Our home base is NJ.
Here's the question, has anyone with a P-35 designed and build, or had built, a hard dodger or bimini? My canvas is getting tired and I've always wanted to try hard covers.
Thanks for your time.
Cheers, Paul

Hi Paul,

We put a wavestopper hard dodger on our Pearson 365 and love it. It's perfect for Hailey to sit on when she puts on the sailcovers and we used it to mount cockpit speakers. Eventually we'll have some canvas bags made to fit beneath it for storage. It was pricey though. We could have probably designed and built it ourselves for less but by the time we got to that part, we were tired of sanding and painting. Take a look at our website, especially the pics from Dec 05 and Jan 06 for some photos.

Thanks for the heads up on Wavestopper. Just so happens a good friend is their rep. here in NJ. Who knew?
