Magellan BlueNav North America Full CD

I have received a new handheld GPS as a gift to replace my trusted Magellan GPS315. The new model is Sportrak Color.

In the time since our original GPS purchace there have been a number of changes in technology and with Magellan. The new unit supports mapping downloads and is compatable with Mapsend BlueNav North America CD.

I am located in Nova Scotia, Canada and do most sailing on the Northumberland Strait between Nova Scotia, PEI and New Brunswick.

I have been receiving conflicting reports on whether Bluenav includes charts for my area. reports it does not cover any Canadian Coastal waters. sort of insinuates there are charts for my area. No chandleries in my area carry Magellan at this time due to this lack of charting support - only The Source, Wal-Mart, Canadian Tire, etc ... So I cannot look at this software in action and would need to special order or purchase from over the web.

Anybody have this software? Can you confirm if these areas are covered? Is this software and its downloadable charts worth having?
