Help needed with C-MAP PC Planner

Hi everybody.

I just installed a new color plotter 3 month ago that uses C-maps MAX format. I had to wait until now to get the PC planner (was backordered and back-ordered and back-ordered ....) and try to find out how to deal with the waypoints, create and edit routes etc. Quite frankly I have some trouble with the "manual" (help files) and it works not intuitive. Is there anything out there that explains it a bit better? I send an email to C-map but they don't react. I think the manual and the help files have not been updated along with their software ....

Normally I don't have trouble with computer and software but here I am at a loss. One would expect, the company would explain the basics and than goes more and more into detail ... Either they expect too much or I am plain and simple too dumb. I still have to work for a living and want rather spent my spare time sailing. I assume with a lot try and error one could figure it out ...

It's a shame C-map is spending so much money in glossy advertising that cost a fortune and so little in keeping their manuals up to date and user friendly.

Any help an/or hint would be appreciated.
