WEST SYSTEM Boys

I''m facinated by the WEST System for wood-epoxy building and old boat refurbishing, but I have one question that has been troubling me for years....how do you pronounce "Gougeon" of Gougeon Brothers fame? Is it Googin or Gougin? Other? Please help, I''m tired of being ignorant here!
