Haida

I recently purchased a Haida sailboat (originally made in Vancouver but no longer made). I noticed there is no group dedicated to the Haida boats. Does anyone know of any discussion group, club, support group (sic), or know where I can get more info on these boats?

I was thinking there was one of these in my club out of Edmonds Wa, but I am not seeing it listed. Another thought, it might be that someone owns one as part of an email group I get stuff from, go to Com.org - Only the best links ... and get yourself listed, and send out an email to see if anyone knows of some.

I am assuming you are local to the washington sound or up north in BC area's.

I think that this thread should qualify for a record of some sort. I have seen some resurrected threads in the past but over 8 years between posts... That's gotta be a record.

Well I have changed my feelings about the Haida. I like the boat I have now, and I think that my serious offshore cruising "forever boat" is going to be purchased AFTER the student loans are paid off.
