Anyone headed for Fort Myers/Cape Coral..

Well, it looks like it is going to be a real problem in the future using the Caloosahatchie River from the Gulf up to the lake. The Manatee people are on the verge of having the Caloosahatchie River down by Shell Point declared a "Manatee Refuge". The only boats that will be permitted to pass will be those who live up river and can prove it.

This decision is not final...at this point it appears to be tentative....
