I never met Bill Shaw in the flesh, but talked to him a number of times on the phone. He was a class guy, a total gentleman who loved sailing, and loved Pearson Yachts. In fact, he was Pearson Yachts for most of the life of that company. He built solid, mannerly, wholesome boats that are still popular today. Yes, fair winds, Bill.

I am truly sorry to hear of his passing. He was a neat guy who designed a lot of neat boats. May he rest in peace, his long day done.

Jeff
