Young sailors beat the odds in charity marathon

Melissa Cauchi and Julia Zammit were quite determined to keep going once their 50 hours were up on Sunday at 7 p.m. but the organiser of the Vikings Sailing Club annual marathon, John Sammut, wisely discouraged them, not wanting the event to be overtaken by competitive rivalry.
