What is the proper way to christen a boat

We are getting our first large new boat delivered to Tortola next month. We now have a name for it (Mama Cocha, the inca sea godess) and I would like to know what would be the proper ritual to get the rest of the nautical pantheon on board with us.
Thanks
Herve
