Can you furnish any information on a O''Day Javelin Sailboat Hull # 3156 2492. I purchased this boat March 2001. Is this a standard Javelin?, What year was it built? The color is white topside with red with white pinstripe bottom. Is this the original color?

I was just poking around on the sailnet site and saw your ODay Javelin question. I own an ''86 ODay 272 and have found lots of good information at the sailboatowners.com website. It features Q&A from owner to owner in a very accessible format. There are boat reviews, specialty areas such as rigging, head and holding tank, electronics, gelcoat maintenance and repair, among others. Check it out. The site includes ODays, Hunters, Catalinas, Beneteaus, and C&C boats.
