Annapolis Boat Show

Greetings!

Anyone else from here going to be at the Annapolis boat show this Saturday?

My wife and I are going - simply to dream and drool. We've not a snowball's chance in H E Double Hockey Sticks of obtaining a boat, unless they're giving one away... But we're going to "dream a little dream."

We plan on getting there around opening time.

Sincerely,

/s/ Jon C. Munson II

Haven't missed it in the last 16 years, won't miss it this year either. We're heading up on Saturday, hopefully it will be rainy and keep the crowds down.
Lots of fun stuff to drool over. Of course the Cabo Rico 42 pilot house would be pretty sweet parked in my slip.......but as fate would have it, it's not to be. Maybe next year.

The wife and I will be there on Friday. I'm hoping to beat out some of the weekend crowd.

We are heading out either on Sat or Sun. In the past, it was only me and my son going, but this year I convinced my wife to go along too. I told her that I wanted to sail across the oceans and will be nice if she could come. .

Does anyone have suggestion for a few good places to eat in the evening? I guess places that are off the beaten path will be better.

edited: Grammatical error, may be more. Who knows

I like Davis' Pub in Eastport across the bridge. Small bar, casual atmosphere, great beer and crabcakes. The Boatyard Bar and Grill in Eastport is also great, but more crowded.

We're going Friday and Saturday. There's just never enough time with one day it seems.

Ram's Head Tavern is also a nice spot, but sometimes crowded.
