Onewheel.. Replace your folding bike?

This just looks so cool and apparently you don't need any skating skills as the gyro does it all for you. 6-7 mile range and charges in 20 minutes.

Pretty cool. Wonder if they're working on regenerative braking. Be neat to charge while going downhill.

I saw one of these buzz by the other day, or at least a similar product. The rider was straddling one wheel and motoring down the sidewalk. Looked cool.

Airlines have just announced they are not allowed on airplanes, due to fire hazzard from the battery.

I was recently at the Bangkok airport and saw two wheelers being abandoned at the gate because of the lithium batteries. They allow cpap batteries and my wet cell unit so the limits may vary.

Wonder why they don't point that out in the lit or specs.

Re: Onewheel.. Replace your folding bike?

I can get a 6 speed folding bike for $129 new on Jet.com, or a cheap skateboard for $30, both have infinite range kind of like a sailboat.. Hipsters meh!

I still want a set of these aboard one day. Price, but full size and go anywhere.

Brilliant. Just don't recharge the thing on your boat or a flammable dock!
