Welcome, 420sail!
Sailnet is a great place, and there are many sailors here who really know what they are talking about..(unlike some other sailing websites)...

That is actually not true, 420sail.
I have crewed on 420s, steered at 76 ft schooner, and crewed on a friendship sloop for a race. I have been sailing for about 2 1/2 years.

And I know a lot about right of way, morse code, and racing. I have done quite a bit of racing this summer, including coming in first on an interclub race day.
Please don't call other people newbies, when you know nothing about them.

One of the fastest dinghies is probably the moth foiler... But I don't sail on dinghies.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
