His new guide will fill a gaping hole in the cruising guide universe and I'm really looking forward to seeing it under my Christmas tree!

My first salt water SCUBA dive was on Palancar Reef off Cozumel. Talk about starting with the best. Regarding the current, I remember the ripple marks in the sand along the edge of the reef where it drops off. That was a long time ago but I think we were diving around 70-90 ft.
