Cam,

Is it a white plastic cover? so the snow does not get in? I saw that in Connecticut, near Grotton.

I would assume its worse, to ecapsulate the boat in plastic, but since you are all doing it, then must be better.

Here, we don't even have to protect the boats from seagull dung!!! Only from crazy frenchmen!!

Yup..it is the white plastic stuff you saw. One of the big problems in snow country is that the cockpit drains get blockd with ice and when the snow melts you get a flood down below and the ice is hell on your gel coat. Plastic wrap prevents this but also seals in moisture so you need to have sme ventilation through it. All in all...we'd rather wrap our boats than deal with the French!

Good, understood, thank you for the explanantion, glad someone spend time educating the stupid foreigner!!

Still, I have a better idea for you. When the bad cold, snow season comes, just come over here, and save on the wraping!

Oh, that's right CAP, I forgot it was you disguising yourself as an independantly wealthy sailor, living the good life in Portugal.

Now, where's all that money you still owe me from that deal we made 15 years ago?

The good news:

The loot from that Brasilian Bank job we pulled together before you got arrested , well....I hide it in a secret compartment inside the keel of your Nauticat!!

The Bad News:

It was in Brasilian Cruzados, no good now!!
