Hi,
I saw a response JeffH wrote 6 yrs. ago to someone looking at an S2 10.3. I'm a bit muddled as the the extent of the IOR influence, which was mentioned regarding the 10.3. Like anyone else, I can spot an extreme IOR boat from a mile away -- the pinched stern, the bustle, etc. The 10.3, to my eye, anyway, doesn't look at all IOR influenced, though even the S2 brochure for that boat calls it and "IOR racer." So I was wondering if they figured out how to make better balanced boats by the end of the IOR rule, like, early to mid 80s. Is it possible to find an IOR boat that is wholesome and well behaved?
Hoped someone might have some ideas on that topic,
