Thank goodness for northerly locales as they will most certainly be the last places to fill up due to the geographic location. The further north you go the colder it gets. Marinas only fill in the spring and summer, during the off season they are half empty. Hey, we're talking the Pacific Northwest here (San Juans, Gulf Islands, Georgia Stait,) and few sailors venture out off season. There is plenty of room for expansion in this area, can't say the same for investment capital. You should see this area in the summer months, it is a mecca of boats, many larger ones from USA.
