The Dark Side
I just saw an interesting segment on Discovery's I Shouldn't Be Alive. It was about a crew of 5 or 6 delivering a sailboat from Maine to Florida. The boat capsized and only 2 crewmembers ended up making it out alive. Does anyone know if the way it was presented on TV is the way it really happened? Was poor seamanship involved or was it just bad luck? Was there anything the skipper could have done to prevent capsizing? And does anyone know the size / make of the sailboat involved? If I heard correctly the narrator kept calling the boat "The Trashman." But I did a Google search on that name and got nowhere.
