Help, trying to locate a sailer in Patagonia

We are working on a new edition of Storm tactics Handbook. We would like to locate Ron Llewellyn who wrote a story about being dismasted off Cape Horn. It was in the August issue of Blue Water Sailing. Unfortunately the editors did not have an email address for Ron. Do any of you know how I might reach him? I know he regularly logs in to the Patagonia Cruisers Net. But we do not have ham or ssb radio at our disposal.

Thanks to anyone who can help us.

Don't know if this is current, but you might try to contact J.C. who runs the Patagonia Cruiser's Net each morning. His email address is

Following is from a message (don't know the date):

"44° South/73° West
your name has been given to me by the yacht Finte, cruising down here for some time.

hans told me you guys have some good coverage of european and northern yachts and so this info should come in handy. my name is 'j.c' and i normally run the 'patagonia cruisers net' every morning at 9am (local chile time) on 8164.0 USB. over time this area has become a magnet for cruisers and this year we had over 40 on the net and more than 65 in Chile."

Good luck,
