Jotun,
when i had my boat surveyed, i used don mccann..now he is in whitestone va (an hour or so north of norfolk, but i found him to be thorough and knowledgeable).. http://www.tranquilwaters.com/

By three methods we may learn wisdom: first, by reflection, which is noblest, second is by imitation, which is easiest, third is by experience, which is the bitterest.

Jotun,

I used a Surveyor named Mike Previti he's not in the Norfolk area but he will travel for a price. He was great. I highly recommend him.

Phone NUmber is 410-326-0866.
