This spring I will be sailing my boat from Toronto to Atlantic Canada. Anyone have suggestions regarding cruising guides, preferred ports / marinas, charts etc.. Al
That's a tough question. It's a long distance with lots of options. Toronto to Tadousac is pretty straightforward, you just travel down hill to the gulf, but then what? How long do you have and where do you want to go?
Also it is important to remember that once you get downriver the waters get very cold - don't want to leave too soon. There is a cruising guide that covers the route - check with the Nautical Mind bookstore in Toronto they will have it. Active Captain is also useful. Would be helpful if we knew your destination and how much time you have.
